About Jaime

The basis of Jaime’s unique approach is part classical acupuncture theory, part Western pathophysiology, and part appreciation for the alchemy possible in the patient-practitioner encounter. Her evidence-based approach allows her to maximize therapeutic benefits and confer with other healthcare providers, while her genuine care and respect for her patients can yield transformational healing results.

Had it not been for a childhood fear of needles, Jaime would have gone to medical school instead of architecture school. She worked for a decade in residential architecture until a repetitive strain injury caused her to (reluctantly) seek acupuncture treatment. The pain relief was immediate, she felt like her best self, and the needles didn’t hurt at all. Ultimately this inspired her to change careers from building homes to helping others feel more at home in their bodies.

Jaime earned her Master of Science in Acupuncture at Tri-State College of Acupuncture (TSCA) in New York City, where she graduated with honors. She has also done post-graduate study in Japan and was on faculty at Tri-State College of Acupuncture as part of Kiiko Matsumoto’s clinical teaching team.

Jaime is licensed in New York, Pennsylvania and Delaware and board-certified by the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM).
